when it says connecting to data or whatever just click cancel........on the right hand side you have some options.......i tick pb and servers not full and then search......but like blade says there are still some connection issues which dice are working on atm

Try running BFBC2updater in admin mode just in case your not fully updated too latest build. It can be found in your EA/BFBC2 folder in programs.

yeah good call, when the game installed it went crazy and crashed out right at the end.. and missed putting a desktop icon, so the whole time i was running from the game.exe instead of the updater. woop.. game's cool as fuck.

What's the consensus. I looked really good when I looked at the previews. I'm going to try the SP before deciding if I want to invest for the MP.

Does it need really high specs to run?

Watchy it patches itself. Sereph the single player doesnt do multi player justice. Also it does require a fairly decent pc too run but there are enough tweeking settings too facilitate most puter setups.

it's all auto, and it'll check for updates each time you run it.

mp is so fucking hard at the start tho, naff weapons and you actually have to rank up to level 1! and none hardcore servers are HELL the amount of times i've emptied clips into people and they've not died is fucking ridiculous! (and yeah i did hit them.. the little X came up =p)

but the layout is so good, don't get anywhere playing for yourself working in a team and helping each other out gains you more experience points and all that jazz.. so it's deffo a game I would see us playing for a while.

the maps are huge too, and look awesome. and the recon class has sensors like GR did.. woop.
